Training Tips

Always take into account your horses physical condition if behavior issues suddenly pop up. Examine him carefully and check equipment, teeth, body soreness and possible injury. Bad behavior is often a horses way of telling us they are uncomfortable.

Natural Remedies:

Pure Vitamin E oil is a great wound healer and promotes quicker hair regrowth in cuts where the fur was ripped off (ie. bites).

Equipment Tips:

Everyone should have a rope halter and training lead for teaching basic ground handling and respect. Go to FDT Shop

Nutrition and Supplement Tips

Flax is a seed which provides valuable Omega oils to your horse and has so many benefits. It is is best fed ground and can help with digestion, inflammation, beautiful coats, skin and hooves. It cleans the gut like bran and sand clear and they like the taste. Always introduce diet changes slowly.
